Where exactly are you located?
98 Elizabeth St, Sydney, right at the edge of Hyde Park.
What can I get here?
Everything’s baked fresh in-house despite the tiny space: sourdough loaves (including pumpernickel and our fig & walnut), croissants, pastries, pies, and sausage rolls. It’s a compact menu built for grab-and-go.
Is there anywhere to sit?
There’s no seating at the bus stop itself, but Hyde Park is right there, plenty of regulars grab a pie or a pastry and hit the grass.
Why is it called "Bus Stop"?
It’s not a nickname. The shop is housed in a real, historic Sydney bus stop shelter. The Grumpy Baker took over the space and transformed it into a fully functioning micro-bakery, keeping the character of the heritage structure.
